A location-sharing mobile application designed to effortlessly answer the age-old question, “what are my best friends up to right now?”
VISION
An automated social diary.
A location-based application that, with permission, would run in the background of a user’s smartphone and automatically record the interesting places they visited throughout their day, and plot these on a personalised map.
Users’ would invite their close friends and family, to see and share each other’s current location and daily activities.
UI DESIGN
A customised Google Maps UI, with a paired-back and minimalist aesthetic, to complement the app’s colour scheme and allow the user to focus on the people on the map.
Large buttons, playful icons, bubbly text and lively colours — all form part of a fun, simple and intuitive user interface.
BRAND IDENTITY
The goal was to create a fun, youthful and bubbly brand to combat the various fears and negative social stigma at the time of location-sharing technology.
A vibrant and radiant, sunflower yellow was chosen as the primary branding colour, with yellow being the universal colour of happiness across cultures.
